Cicely Mary Barker (1895-1973) was a British illustrator who became famous for her flower fairy prints which were first published in 1923 when Arthur Conan Doyle's book The Coming of the Fairies was published (which included allegedly authentic photographs of real fairies) and fairies were a popular topic. She was chiefly inspired by The Pre-Raphaelite artists. Our Barker fairy prints are vintage originals, approximately 70 years old, and in excellent condition. Print image is 2.75 X 4.25 inches and actual sheet size is approximately 4 X 5.5 inches.
